The Office of Elections has announced the plan to use the top four winning designs over the next 4 years. In addition, they also revealed a special winner category for a “Future Voter” sticker. The office added two prize categories to mirror this change.

The winning designs showcase the entire geographic area of Prince William and represent the many people, places, and rich history of PWC. In addition to patriotic color themes, the subject matter of the sticker designs serves as a reminder of the importance of local elections. Read more on our press release here!

Prince William County’s Office of Elections is seeking a way for voters to showcase county pride with our 2024 “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest. The chosen sticker design will be used to represent voters from all across the county, both on Election Day and year-round on the PWC Office of Elections website.

The contest is open to all Prince William County residents, regardless of voter registration status. Submissions are encouraged from both individuals and groups.

The contest is open from Monday, Feb. 5 - Friday, March 15, 2024

Participants must be residents of Prince William County Virginia and will have their residence confirmed by Office of Elections Staff.

The phrase "I Voted" must be legible and included in the design. Designs must be in a circular shape. Final designs will be resized by Elections staff to be printed at 2" diameter.

Entries will be evaluated based on a) uniqueness of the design in relation to Prince William County and its distinct county identity; b) clarity, strength, and effectiveness of design; and c) overall aesthetics or eye-catching ability.

All entries should be saved as a PDF document and submitted electronically via this entry form.

2024 "I Voted" Sticker Design Contest Guidelines (PWC)

Contest Duration: Monday, February 5 - Friday, March 15, 2024

The Office of Elections will notify finalists via the email and phone number provided on the contest entry form.

Confirmed Finalists will be announced in April, with a formal recognition ceremony at the Electoral Board Meeting in July (Date TBD)

1st Place: $3,000

and adoption of design by Office of Elections for election stickers and website branding

2nd Place: $1000

3rd Place: $500

To encourage submissions by students and children, the Office of Elections will also be awarding $500 to the school that has the most student entries.

By submitting an entry, each entrant acknowledges that their entry: a) is their original work; b) does not violate or infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks rights of privacy, publicity; or other rights of any person or entity; c) does not feature the likeness of a private individual without that individual’s written permission for its use; d) does not contain references to any candidates or political parties or advocate for or against any issue; e) does not trigger any reporting or royalty obligation to any third party; and f) does not and will not violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance, rule or regulation. Further, if a design is selected as the winning entry, the Prince William County Office of Elections has the exclusive and irrevocable right to use the winning design for the official “I Voted” sticker and Office of Elections branding. Office of Elections Staff and their family members are not eligible to participate.
